Normally there are two types of vinyl sheet regarding installation:

Glue down

Peel and stick

Peel and stick is easy as long as you measure the size well and cut the size correctly.

Glue down will need more skills. But glue down is usually installed to those higher installation quality needed. At least 5 years expectancy life. But even is glue down, it should be easier than ceramic tile and stone tile.
