The Difference Between Directional & Non-Directional Homogeneous Sheet Vinyl Flooring

Directional homogeneous sheet vinyl flooring is composed of the same material from the inside to the surface, and even after prolonged use and wear, the surface aesthetics are not affected in any way.

Some people often say that there will be losses when there is directional homogeneous, and the losses are greater than when there is non-direction. The cost will increase and the price will be higher. However, this is a wrong statement. There will be losses both when there is direction and when there is no direction, it will not lead to more losses and higher costs.

There is a price difference due to different production processes. Directional homogeneous vinyl sheet flooring can be easily formed in one go. The pattern is vertical and patterned, and can only be laid in one direction. It cannot be easily spliced, and if the direction is not right, the pattern will not be aesthetically pleasing.

And the non-directional homogeneous commercial sheet floor is a kind of fragmented pattern from the surface to the inner layer, embedded with particle distribution. The process is complex and formed multiple times, without direction restrictions, and there will be no misalignment of patterns that do not match.

The PVC content of directional homogeneous flooring is not as high as that of non-directional homogeneous flooring, so the price of directional homogeneous sheet vinyl flooring is lower than that of non-directional sheet vinyl flooring.
