Reasons of ESD Vinyl Flooring Trim Cracking

1)  Due to the fact that the ambient temperature and humidity in the computer room do not meet national standards, the anti-static movable floor veneer shrinks and shows signs of peeling and cracking. The real result is that static electricity cannot be released or leaked, resulting in equipment problems and paralysis.

2) Due to the fact that the ambient temperature and humidity in the computer rooms in the northern region cannot meet the technical specifications of national regulations. Especially in winter, when the heating is turned on, the environmental humidity cannot meet the national standard specifications, and the relative dryness in the environment is too high, resulting in accelerated shrinkage of the floor veneer and the appearance of peeling and cracking.

3) The humidity of the computer room environment cannot meet the true results of national standards. If any equipment in the computer room cannot meet the anti-static requirements, serious adverse effects will occur. The reason is that without humidity, static electricity cannot be discharged or leaked to the ground pile, resulting in static electricity everywhere in the computer room, causing equipment problems and severe paralysis.

5) Regarding the relevant skill clauses in the compilation of anti-static raised floor specifications and related specifications SJ/T10796-2001 released by the Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of Antistatic Products of the Ministry of Information Industry, Article 6.2 of this specification specifies that the environmental temperature for using anti-static raised floor is: 23 ℃± 2 ℃, and the environmental humidity is: 45% RH~55% RH.

6) Regarding the location of computer rooms, there is another national standard GB2887-89, Rule 4.4.1.3 of the Technical Conditions for Computer Station Places. The environmental temperature and humidity standards for the bootable machine room are: A level 22 ± 2 ℃, B level 15-30 ℃, and C level 10-35 ℃; The ambient humidity is 45% -65% for Class A, 40% -70% for Class B, and 30% -80% for Class C; The specifications of general communication rooms should reach A-level standards.

7) The communication industry standard of the People’s Republic of China for electrostatic protection in communication equipment rooms VD/T754-95 also has regulations for environmental temperature and humidity: 4.2 The relative humidity in the environmental requirements is 40% to 65%.

8) In the northern computer room, humidifiers with different capacities are added according to the space, while in the southern room, dehumidifiers are added according to the space to meet the technical requirements of the national standards for the environment of the computer room, ensuring the normal discharge and leakage of static electricity on the equipment, computers, and ground in the computer room, and extending the service life of the anti-static raised floor.

9) The northern anti-static floor adopts PVC permanent anti-static veneer, while the southern anti-static floor can use HPL melamine anti-static veneer and PVC permanent anti-static trim.
