Longda Flooring: Project Xian Airport

The Northwest Airlines Bureau conducted industry acceptance and commissioning review on the construction of the new East Airlines station building and other projects for the third phase expansion project of Xi’an Xianyang International Airport. The final acceptance team unanimously agreed that the quality of the third phase expansion project is qualified, the facilities and equipment functions are complete, and it meets industry standards and acceptance criteria. And this stage is a necessary condition for the airport project to be put into operation and set sail.

The third phase expansion project of Xi’an Xianyang International Airport is a major national construction project during the 14th Five Year Plan period, a benchmark demonstration project for civil aviation in China, and the number one civil aviation project in the province. It is also the largest investment scale, construction volume, and most technically complex airport construction project in northwest China. The project includes the construction of three runways in the north, one in the north, two in the south, and two in the south, as well as a 700000 square meter East Airlines station building and a 350000 square meter comprehensive transportation center, making it a super project. The construction of the Eastern Airlines station building and other projects that were accepted in this batch started in July 2020 and will be completed in September 2024.

The project draws inspiration from the profound historical and cultural heritage of Xi’an, and is committed to integrating urban, transportation, and architectural aspects, emphasizing sustainable development.
