Longda Flooring Project: Hainan Provincial People's Hospital Innovation Center

On December 10, 2024, the International Precision Medicine Innovation Center project of Hainan Provincial People’s Hospital officially broke ground.

The project site covers an area of 11000 square meters and will construct a new International Precision Medicine Innovation Center building with 14 floors above ground and 3 floors underground. The total construction area is 61200 square meters, including 38000 square meters above ground and 23300 square meters underground.

The project mainly includes research facilities such as a basic scientific research platform, a precision medicine innovation and transformation platform, a key discipline research platform, a biological sample engineering center, a multi omics integration analysis center, a model animal research platform, an underground garage, and civil defense engineering.

It is reported that the International Precision Medicine Innovation Center project began planning in 2021, aiming to become an innovation center that integrates basic scientific research, model animal research, and precision medicine innovation transformation.

The project supports hospitals to better carry out research on key core technologies such as modern biological therapy technology, clinical translational key technologies, cutting-edge stem cell clinical technologies, and Hainan characteristic traditional Chinese medicine technology. At the same time, the center has built a first-class scientific research platform for Hainan Provincial People’s Hospital in China, effectively ensuring the coordinated development of medical treatment, teaching, and scientific research in the hospital, and enhancing Hainan’s health technology innovation capabilities.
