Longda Flooring Project: Beijing You'an Hospital

Recently, the construction projects of Daxing Campus and Daxing District Center for Disease Control and Prevention of Beijing You’an Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University have been officially completed.

This project is divided into two parts:

One is the geotechnical engineering survey, soil radon concentration detection, and related technical services for the construction projects of the Daxing Campus of You’an Hospital and the Daxing District Center for Disease Control and Prevention;

The second is the scheme design, preliminary design and budget estimation, construction drawing design, on-site construction services, and other related services for the construction of the Daxing campus of You’an Hospital and the Daxing District Center for Disease Control and Prevention.  

The project investment is 2.742 billion yuan. The construction project of You’an Hospital includes the construction of Daxing Campus and Daxing District Center for Disease Control and Prevention. The construction site is located in Guanyinsi Street, Tuanhe District, Daxing District, with a total land area of about 18.09 hectares and a total construction scale of about 240000 square meters. Among them, the Daxing campus of You’an Hospital has a construction area of about 200000 square meters and a bed capacity of 1000. It will be built into a modern hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, and scientific research. The Daxing District Center for Disease Control and Prevention is an important institution responsible for regional disease prevention and control, with a building area of about 40000 square meters, and will be equipped with advanced disease prevention and control facilities and technologies. After the completion of the new campus, Beijing You’an Hospital will have two campuses. Ma Yingmin, president of You’an Hospital, once said that the new hospital area, as the Beijing Public Health Clinical Treatment Center, includes both comprehensive diagnosis and treatment areas and independent infectious diseases diagnosis areas, and undertakes the function of scientific research and teaching. After the completion and opening of the new campus, the old campus located in Fengtai District will still retain some beds, responsible for meeting the public health needs within the urban area, conducting diagnosis and treatment of difficult and complex diseases, and undertaking scientific research tasks.

According to public information, Beijing You’an Hospital is located at No. 8 Xitoutiao, You’anmen Outer, Fengtai District, Beijing. It was founded in 1956 and covers an area of 52250 square meters. It is a tertiary hospital with a focus on infectious disease prevention and research. The hospital has 750 beds, and has established domestic leading disciplines such as hepatobiliary surgery center, tumor and minimally invasive interventional treatment center, infectious diseases diagnosis and treatment center. In terms of disciplinary development, Beijing You’an Hospital has established the relationship between viral hepatitis and liver cancer; AIDS and emerging infectious diseases; Infection, tumors, and transplant immunity; Microbiology, Biology, and Regenerative Medicine; The six major development directions of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine and clinical and translational medicine research have formed liver disease centers, infection centers, minimally invasive tumor intervention treatment centers, urology centers, facial features centers, emergency centers, clinical laboratory centers, clinical pathology centers, etc. based on systemic diseases, combining clinical surgery, medical technology departments, and clinical research laboratories. In recent years, the number of liver transplant surgeries has consistently ranked first in Beijing, with nearly 9000 minimally invasive tumor intervention surgeries performed annually and approximately 29000 liver cancer patients diagnosed and treated annually, all of which are in a leading position in China. The infectious diseases Center has successively undertaken a number of major special research projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, and its achievements have been published in top international journals such as Cell. It has become the main force of the national team in the field of infection and infectious disease medical treatment, as well as in responding to public health emergencies.
