Shenzhen Qianhai Shekou Free Trade Zone Hospital (formerly Shenzhen Shekou People’s Hospital) is located in the forefront of China’s reform, Shenzhen Qianhai Free Trade Zone. The hospital was founded in 1955 and is the only tertiary comprehensive hospital in Shenzhen Qianhai Shekou Free Trade Zone. It is the first comprehensive public hospital in South China to pass the international JCI quality certification and obtain the JCI review gold medal. The hospital was approved to be renamed from “Shenzhen Shekou People’s Hospital” to “Shenzhen Qianhai Shekou Free Trade Zone Hospital” in 2021.
