The EN685 “Classification Standard for Resilient Floor Products” approved and effective by the European Community strictly distinguishes floors used in different areas into household grade standards: 21-23; Commercial grade standard: 31-34; Industrial grade standard: 41-43.
Technical performance requirements
1 Wear resistance:
The ranking of wear resistance of EN685 is: 21-22-23-31-32-41-33-42-34-43.
2 Color fastness:
The determination of color fastness values is based on ISO 105-B02, generally 6 degrees and 7 degrees. High values indicate better color fastness and less discoloration.
3 Anti slip:
The European standard BGR181 specifies that the anti slip grade of elastic materials should be between R9 and R11. The higher the grade, the better the anti slip performance.
4 Residual concavity:
The strength of the recovery ability of the floor after compression deformation is represented, and the smaller the value, the smaller the final dents produced by the material after compression. Usually, products with homogeneous and transparent structures are superior to products with laminated structures, while products with hard back layers with laminated structures have better residual depression values than products with foam back layers. The European standard is: error<0.04 mm
5 Dimensional stability:
The requirements of EN434, GB/T4085-2005, and GB/T11982.1-2005 for the rate of change in heating length of materials (excluding flax) are coil£ 0.40%, sheet£ 0.25%.
6 Surface treatment:
It can be divided into three types: whole body polyurethane (PUR) treatment, surface PUR treatment, and no PUR treatment. The function of polyurethane is to seal the pores between surface molecules of the material and improve its anti fouling performance.
7 Fire resistant:
According to the regulations of DIN 4102 in Germany, ASTM 648 in the United States, and GB8624-1997 in the national standard, the paving materials should all reach B1 level
1 Insulation level:
The unit is dB (A), which is the result of subtracting the inserted A-level from the A-level before insulation.
2 Thermal conductivity:
Test thermal conductivity only when required for insulation, according to EN1339 or using density related values in EN12524.
3 Anti slip performance:
PVC elastic flooring can experience instant elastic deformation under local pressure, increasing the friction coefficient of the floor and making it less prone to slipping when walking. The surface of hard flooring is hard and smooth, and its friction coefficient u is only one-third of that of PVC, making it easier to slip when walking.
4 CE certification:
indicates that the product meets a series of European indicators such as safety, health, environmental protection, and consumer protection of the European Community.
5 HQE (High Quality Environmental Quality Buildings) is the evaluation system of the British Academy of Building Sciences (BRE), and the BREEAM system is the world’s first green building evaluation system
6 EN649 can be classified into four levels: T, P, M, and F based on the wear resistance level and the degree of wear resistant. But currently it is using Type I and Type II.
