The project of Peking University Cancer Hospital Baoding Hospital, which is under construction this time, is located in the southwest corner of the western area of Baoding National Regional Medical Center, covering an area of about 137000 square meters and a building area of about 240000 square meters. It includes outpatient, ward, medical technology, teaching and research, and parking facilities, with a designed bed capacity of 1200, creating a domestically first-class and internationally renowned intelligent and ecological cancer medical center.

Peking University Cancer Hospital Baoding Hospital adopts a block style layout, with a service hall and medical technology building in the middle area, and outpatient and inpatient departments on both sides. The route is clear, and patients can seek medical treatment quickly.

To create a safe, efficient, and humane medical environment, the project designs and plans an underground transportation “main and secondary roads” system that echoes the above ground building planning structure. At the same time, a transportation connection area is set up underground in the outpatient hall to guide taxis, ride hailing vehicles, and other stop and go vehicles to connect and drop off passengers, creating a convenient medical channel for patients.

It is reported that the Baoding Hospital project of Peking University Cancer Hospital will greatly enhance the regional cancer medical service capacity and clinical research level after completion, reduce more than 40% of cross regional mobile cancer patients, further relieve the pressure of diagnosis and treatment in Beijing, and meet the local medical needs of the masses.
