The design inspiration for the building of Xiong’an Xuanwu Hospital comes from the terrain and landforms of Baiyangdian, simulating the form of a lake and introducing the landscape of Qihu on the north side
The hospital is constructing a block layout that is regular, straight, and has a dense network of narrow roads. Various public activity spaces, transportation connection spaces, indoor and outdoor courtyards, and medical spaces are like reed marshes, connecting the entire hospital into a living organism that does not interfere with each other and is closely connected.
Continuing the characteristic ward roof of Xuanwu Hospital, the end of the building is rotated counterclockwise by 30 degrees, which not only makes the architectural form flexible and vivid, but also creates a good outdoor landscape orientation for hospitalized patients.
The ceiling design of the outpatient hall of the hospital is filled with elements of neuroscience, continuing the characteristics of neuroscience and geriatrics at Xuanwu Hospital.
