Longda Flooring Project: Deyang Hospital

Recently, the underground main structure of the Deyang Hospital project of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital (Sichuan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine) has been successfully completed and is expected to be completed and put into use by 2025. At that time, provincial-level high-quality, efficient, and distinctive traditional Chinese medicine technology will enter Deyang, providing high-quality medical services for the local people.

The total investment of the Deyang Hospital project of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital is 1.85 billion yuan, with a total construction area of 200000 square meters. It consists of a medical comprehensive building, an infection building, a sewage treatment station, and a liquid oxygen station. The medical comprehensive building includes an inpatient building, a medical technology building, an outpatient building, and a science and education building. The project is strictly planned according to the standards of a third level comprehensive hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, with a planned number of beds of 1000.

As a newly constructed large-scale comprehensive hospital in Deyang City, Deyang Hospital, affiliated with Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is located on the south side of the intersection of Jiulongjiang Road and Yushan Street in Jingyang District, Deyang City. With convenient transportation, it is the only civil defense readiness center hospital in Deyang. The project has the characteristics of being functional, diverse in space, close to nature, low maintenance, and people-oriented, which can effectively alleviate the shortage of medical resources in Tianfu Jingcheng in the future.

In recent years, the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Traditional Chinese Medicine has fully played a leading role in overall planning, leveraging the advantages of provincial TCM medical resource aggregation and radiation driving, focusing on strengthening the construction of TCM service system, enhancing regional TCM service capabilities, promoting the inheritance and development of the province’s TCM industry, industry, and culture, and comprehensively promoting the construction of national TCM comprehensive reform demonstration zones and TCM strong provinces.

Under the promotion of the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in 2021, the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Sichuan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the People’s Government of Deyang City, focusing on the inheritance and innovative development of traditional Chinese medicine, effectively integrating high-quality resources of traditional Chinese medicine, improving the service system of traditional Chinese medicine, jointly building a traditional Chinese medicine consortium, enhancing the comprehensive capacity of regional traditional Chinese medicine services, and providing support for accelerating the economic and social development of Deyang.

After the completion of this project, it will focus on key disciplines of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital, establish several key clinical disciplines in combination with regional health service needs, carry out high-end precision medical services, cooperate in building education and training bases, and bring high-quality, efficient, and distinctive traditional Chinese medicine technology to Deyang.

At the same time, the project will also fill the gap in the lack of combat readiness hospitals in Deyang, provide high-quality medical services for the people in the Tianfu Jingcheng area, various counties, districts, and even surrounding areas within the province, and lay a solid foundation for the construction of a national regional medical center and the Chengdu Northern Medical New City.
