How to Make Vinyl Flooring New?

Many vinyl floors in commercial places may experience varying degrees of loss of gloss, powdering, cracking, and surface scratches due to high pedestrian traffic and prolonged use. When these problems occur with vinyl flooring, it is often possible to restore them through polishing and waxing. There are three types of cleaning and polishing agents for PVC flooring: matte, semi matte, and glossy. After professional PVC floor polishing and waxing technology repair, a protective film will be formed on the surface of the PVC floor, thereby restoring the original glossiness of the floor.

Wax removal procedure:

  1. Pour the prepared solution evenly into the working area

 

  1. Apply the solution evenly with a single flat surface holder

 

  1. Wait for 10-15 minutes to keep it moist, and the construction personnel use a single eraser to evenly polish it

 

  1. Use a water suction machine to dry the surface

 

  1. Rinse 1-2 times with clean water to keep the floor neutral

Procedure for applying protective film:

  1. After the floor is completely dry, apply protective film with a clean wax mop

 

  1. Apply evenly using an S-shaped or 8-shaped brush

 

  1. Drying between each layer of protective film is required for half an hour

 

  1. According to the service life of the floor and the difference between old and new, 2-3 layers of protective film need to be applied, with each layer being thinner and better

 

  1. After the last layer of protective film dries, people can walk on it within 2 hours, and it takes 12 hours to completely dry (no polishing is required to achieve a satisfactory shine effect)
