The influence of air temperature on the drying of cement-based leveling course. One of the requirements for PVC floor laying is that the ground moisture content should be less than 5%. Therefore, if the temperature is low in winter and the drying time of the base leveling layer is not enough, the paving quality of PVC floor in the later period will be affected.
If possible, try to finish the leveling layer one month before laying vinyl sheet flooring.
In fact, there is no fixed time for glue drying. The temperature is high in summer, and the drying time is generally 30-60 minutes. The drying process is slow in winter, and the color of the glue gradually fades from milky white to transparent. At this time, touch it with your hand, and it can be paved if it is not sticky.
Note that the PVC floor temperature should be consistent with the indoor temperature. In winter, PVC floor may experience sub zero temperature during transportation. Therefore, the floor shall be parked indoors at the site first, and the coiled materials shall be kept upright to avoid deformation of the floor caused by horizontal stacking for a long time, so that the temperature of PVC floor is close to the site temperature, which can avoid brittle cracking.
Before laying, the floor shall be laid in advance to relieve the floor stress and adapt to the indoor environment.
When laying PVC plastic floor, if conditions permit, it is recommended to use air conditioning or heating to raise the room temperature naturally before construction, but it is not allowed to bake the floor with open fire, which will damage the UV coating and wear-resistant layer on the surface of PVC floor.
